2G, 3G and 4G network optimization and analytics in a shared network environment

The customer manages the shared network infrastructure for two European operators. The network covers 2G, 3G and 4G, and includes radio equipment from two vendors. The 3G network consists of approximately 70 RNC’s.

Challenge

The customer needed a network optimization solution that would help them deliver maximum quality for the shared network. A key requirement was the need to jointly manage the network without infringing upon the respective policies of the two operators.

TEOCO’s Solution

TEOCO deployed its Forte solution for comprehensive 2G network optimization, and Mentor for 2G and 3G optimization and analytics. Mentor was later upgraded to include 4G when their 4G network was deployed.
