The customer is the leading mobile operator in Central Asia with over 9 million subscribers on their 2G, 3G and 4G network.

Challenge

The customer was looking to successfully deploy its new LTE network in four cities, with plans for a wider roll out. Understanding the importance of ensuring a successful project, they wanted a partner with significant LTE experience to assist them.

TEOCO’s Solution

TEOCO provided LTE network integration and cluster optimization across four major cities. The scope of the project included LTE site integration, LTE pre/post launch optimization, and finally, GSM/UMTS/LTE post-launch optimization and inter-technology tuning. The project was delivered by a dedicated on-site team supported by an additional central back office team.

TEOCO’s suite of tools were used to deliver the project. This include Forte, ASSET and Helix. The tools-based platform used throughout the project enabled proactive planning and monitoring of newly integrated sites, and efficient optimization of the service provider’s combined 2G, 3G and 4G network.

The project received total acceptance, leaving the customer with a set of best practices to maintain and improve network performance moving forward.

TEOCO successfully deployed the carrier’s LTE clusters, tuning and seamlessly integrating them with their existing 2G and 3G networks. The necessary tools, procedures and knowledge transfer were all provided, so that the customer could successfully run their network going forward.
